What Is Happening Lately!

I had fun dressing up like a pickle for the Full Circle Bookstore Event in Oklahoma City. There were three other authors along with me at the event. One author wrote poetry books. Another wrote fantasy. The next author wrote romantic books. Then, there was me.  I had my book, “Nicoli Picoli” displayed at the table. I gave out pickle pens, stuffed pickle stuffies, and a small bag with a plastic pickle in it with a card. This was “emotional support pickles”. https://a.co/d/030Uyxi9

This month, I do not have events scheduled. However, I am working with an illustrator on Book 13. The book is in the Illustration Stage with the illustrator coloring the illustrations. I am also working on editing two stories that I will put out this year in addition to book 13.

 In addition, I will attend a feedback session with other authors to see what they think about the story and advice to make the stories better. I also attend a weekly author podcast.

I also signed up for some upcoming events this year. I have been asked if I wanted to be a speaker for a homecoming conference in June. In addition, I am signed up for the Oklahoma Writer’s Federation Inc, (OWFI) conference (https://www.owfi.org/conference26) . I will have books in the bookstore for sale as well as participating in a couple of banquets, sessions, and much more.

I am currently working on sending my information to the coordinator who will do the “Famous Author Presentation” on Friday night. This is where authors are recognized for books they wrote, publications, news articles,  blogs, etc. from May to May of each year.

My next event in May that is upcoming is where I will be reading my book, “It Happens” for this event.
