Pickle Power!

On July 11th, 2026, I had the privilege of attending a Pickle Festival in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma. It was so much fun. During the event, there were two rooms set aside for vendors indoors at Cobblestone Wedding Chapel. One room seemed to have non-food items, and the other one had food items to partake. I had a booth right in the doorway of the first room from the foyer, so I got to say, “Welcome to the Pickle Festival!”
This was a perfect event for me since I was displaying my book, Nicoli Picoli! On the table, I had pickle pens, a treasure box, emotional support pickles, and pickle stickers. I even had a pickle hat on for the event. In addition, I put my pickle puzzle and a reading log in a plastic, “Thank you” bag for marketing purposes. Throughout the event, I also passed out my business cards and bookmarks

My next event is scheduled for August 1st, 2026 at The Lost Pages Bookstore in Shawnee , Oklahoma from 2-5 p.m. The bookstore is located at 2207 North Kickapoo Avenue.
Then, I am off to Tinker Air Force Base, OK Base Exchange on August 7th and 8th, 2026 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. I will have a multiple selection of books for sale outside the Base Exchange in the vendor area.
Lastly, I am getting really excited about Book 13 which I hope will be done with the illustrator by the end of August. The cover image is being worked on now and the book is getting ready to be formatted. Book 14 will be going to the editor on July 31st, 2026. Then, I can send Book 15 to the editor after that.
In the meantime, I am reading books. I have read over 104 books in the last 60 days or so. I have read some amazing children’s and adult books. I also like to listen to audibles. I do have some of my books on Audibles. Check them out on Amazon.
