I participated in an author visit to a new store called, Dream A Little Dream Bookery Nook in Midwest City, Oklahoma. During this event, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tonya, who is a nice person who is working hard to make a difference in the community to bring to life more opportunities for readers and provide a selection of great books. What I was amazed with personally was the awesome layout of the store. Everything is meticulously arranged to be appealing. Tonya also has a writing group that meets in the store, has additional events, and we even talked about a future event collaboration together.
During the visit, I met some nice customers who came to my table. In addition, I had fun taking photo opportunities with the “Moon”.

I had the great opportunity to participate in a summer reading program at two branches of LaPetite Academy reading to young children and school age children. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my books, It Happens, Rules, Rules, Rules! and Did You Come Home for Lunch? During the sessions, I used interactive items, talked about how accidents happen and our responses, talked about rules, and had a question-and-answer session.
The teachers at the daycare were supportive and accommodating as well as the directors of the two branches of LaPetite Academy. I really enjoyed conducting an author’s visit.

What a day to celebrate my anniversary and a new addition of a grandson born on this day! There is just something about having “ baby snuggles”. This is my 10th grandchild with an 11th granddaughter coming in September. What a proud day for all concerned! (Image by Andres Ramos)

I participated in a Live Stream with our hosts Francine Juhlin and RoseMary Mazur. I did a demonstration, asked a question, and participated in an interview. The book I was talking about was Nicoli Picoli! I am part of a group that meets on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. This group is a group of children’s book authors. We have a website called, www.childrensauthorsunite.com. During the year we have three livestreams along with three sale events over a two-day period. I will be reading at The Last Page Bookstore in Moore, OK. I will be reading It Happens! I have read at this store before and have books for sale in the store. This is also a new bookstore that does a great job promoting me on social media. The bookstore has lots of fun activities scheduled throughout the year that you should partake in if you are in the area.
June 27th, 2026
I will be attending an author visit at Barnes and Noble – Quail Springs in Oklahoma City, OK. I will be using my new banner and will have the very first book I wrote called, Did You Come Home for Lunch? for sale. I am looking forward to being at Barnes and Noble again.
Finally, keep reading. In the last couple of months, I have read over 90 books both children and adult books for fun. I really enjoy some new stories and perspectives. The books are personally fulfilling. So, if you haven’t read any of my books, check them out under Book Catalog.
