It is a great day to be a children's book author. My goal in being a children's book author is to make a difference in the lives of children. I began my journey in 2021 with lots of story ideas based upon my military , elementary education teaching experiences, my children's stories, my grandchildren's stories, and my stories as a child. I published  my books in 2022.

My books focus upon theme -related issues and literary elements. It is my goal to participate in many outreaches such as Read Across America, Buddy Reading, Read-A-Thons, Month of the Military Child celebrations/events,  Indie Read Alouds, Virtual Author Festivals, Virtual Author Visits, School and Class Author Visits, book signings, joint author book signings, and other venues.

My philosophy that I focus on as a children's book author is  "Literacy, Learning, and Legacy."  It is  my goal to promote children reading since this issue is becoming a dilemma in our society.  Through literacy, learning begins. With that, I also want to leave a lasting legacy knowing that my children and grandchildren will carry this torch.
